Happy New Years Eve!

I can't call in to work a second day in a row, so mine will probably be a complete bummer, kind of like Snooki's.     Them's the breaks, I guess. So here's hoping that your New Year's Eve goes better than mine, or hers, for that matter.  If you plan on getting plastered tonight, please choose a designated driver or do the obligatory sloshing at home. Tip your Pizza delivery driver and don't do anything I wouldn't do. Not to worry. That leaves you  free to do pretty much anything, other than  trying out bestiality, listening to the Olivia Newton John channel on SlackerRadio.com or saying anything nice about Sarah Palin.

  1. This has absolutely nothing to do with today's post. I had something incredibly witty to say about bestiality and Sarah Palin till I happened to glance to the right and see your link to Firesign Theater's Official Site. I was so overjoyed to have found one other person on earth who remembers them that the original comment flew right out of my head. I've tried to tell people about them for years, and I just get blank stares.

  2. OK, OK...I confess. I actually thought The Giant Rat of Sumatra was funny, no matter what anybody else says about it.

  3. hey, Bobbo, HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! As they would say at The Fillmore or Winterland. And, by the way, Sarah Palin is your friend.

  4. I placed a link to here on my blog. Don't expect much of a traffic change as a result...

  5. @Dana, I blame Firesign Theatre, Monty Python. Lenny Bruce and the National Lampoon Radio Hour for making me the twisted weirdo I am now, but oh well. The blog name, which it shares with my apartment is actually a F.T. reference, btw.

@Timmy, Many thanks. I thought I put your blogs on the sidebar... As usual my cerebrum developed a short circuit. This will be rectified very shortly.
But, as for Ms. Palin being my friend...nope. would never happen. If she stated I was, I would hide out in the Alaskan woods wearing a Moose costume, biding my time until she shot me.

  6. Bob, I blame a number of things cultural, spiritual and chemical from about 1967 till 1977 for making me a twisted weirdo. FT is just one of them. :)
